Christians Against Poverty is a national debt counselling charity working through a network of centres based in local churches.  CAP offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt through its unique, in-depth service.

St. Paul's works with CAP in association with Tamworth Baptist Church.  We work to offer help to people who are struggling with debt in our area.  We offer support in two different ways -

CAP money - A basic money management course for anyone (not necessarily in debt).  It is a three week course, which aims to help people to budget and look at money saving strategies.  We have a very able team of CAP Money Coaches, to discuss money management for those who seek help.  CAP Money Management Courses are advertised on the CAP Website, please contact us if your are interested in joining our next course.

121 Support - One to one support for those with more serious debt problems, visiting you in your home, compiling financial statements and working with CAP head office to help with budgets and support you to become debt free.  More details can be obtained from our local Cap centre, telephone 01827 260019 and from St. Paul's own debt coach, Lynda Jackson on 07960 706 519.
